Dr Michael G. McNally (BS, SUNY Buffalo; MS, SUNY Buffalo; Ph.D., UC Irvine) is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and of Planning, Policy, and Design and a Faculty Associate of the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Irvine. Professor McNally’s research interests focus on the study of complex travel behavior, investigations of interrelationships between transportation and land use, and the development of local, regional, and statewide transportation models. Professor McNally has been a principal or co-principal investigator on a number of sponsored projects and was a recipient of National Science Foundation’s Presidential Young Investigator Award. He has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles in journals, over 120 conference papers and technical reports, and has given over 50 presentations at conferences and academic institutions.
