R. (Jay) Jayakrishnan
Dr. R. Jayakrishnan (BTech, IIT-Madras, India; MS, PhD, University of Texas, Austin) is a professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Irvine since 1991. His research interests include modeling and analysis of dynamic traffic systems and their environmental impacts, data-enabled transport system modeling, network optimization, innovative passenger and freight transport system designs, traffic flow theory and simulation. He has been a principal investigator or co-principal investigator of over 50 different state and federal research projects, has co-authored nearly 100 peer-reviewed research publications, and has made over 150 presentations at conferences and other venues. He is a member of several professional committees and journal editorial boards.`
