Victoria Deguzman leads the workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and student programs for the Institute of Transportation Studies – Irvine and for the University of California Institute of Transportation Studies. Dr. Deguzman has two decades of increasingly responsible positions in university research centers and a decade prior running her own valuation consultation firm specializing in forensic appraisal for partial acquisitions for transportation infrastructure development. She is a nationally recognized expert on transportation research center programming, collaboration, and leveraging resources, and is known for her ability create and execute innovative education, outreach, technology transfer, student engagement, and professional development programs.
