Faculty and Researchers from all disciplines at UCI who conduct transportation research are encouraged to engage with ITS-Irvine and those who maintain a continuing active involvement with ITS-Irvine are designated informally as ITS-Irvine Faculty Associates. ITS-Irvine has thus served, and continues to serve, as the focal point of the highly successful interdisciplinary transportation research and education enterprise on the UCI campus.
