Project Summary

This scope of work includes the necessary research and algorithm development for estimating the effects of future improvements that are under consideration for the congested I-710 South corridor between the Los Angles Port complex and the I-5 freeway. Some associated work has been done elsewhere by non-UCI researchers and consultants that resulted in transportation analysis models for the study area, implemented in commercial software.  The intent in the UCI work is to take the models as they stand, and improve the analysis with state-of-art schemes researched and developed at UCI, so as to properly evaluate scenarios being considered for corridor improvement.
