Victoria Basolo (PhD, UNC, Chapel Hill) conducts research on housing and community development policy, urban governance, and environmental hazards in urban settings. Professor Basolo currently is working on several projects including research on U.S. state housing policies, transit-oriented, affordable housing development, and urbanization challenges in La Paz, Mexico. Her work is published in an array of housing, urban studies, planning, and environmental journals. She teaches housing policy, research design/methods, and environmental hazards.
